Memorial Day

By: D. H. Williams @ 11:39 AM - EST

Today on Memorial Day, as a veteran I will telephone those I served with to say hello and find out how their lives are going. I will call my Uncle a veteran of Vietnam to wish him a happy Memorial Day.

We will tell some jokes, remember some humorous stories, romanticize the past, remember our friends, brothers and sisters who gave their full measure on the field.

But most of all we will acknowledge our sacrifice was to preserve the Republic and not to spread democracy around the globe.

Obama’s militant youth corp City Year censors Daily Newscaster

By: George @ 8:59 AM - EST

It didn’t take the military style youth group known as City Year very long before living up to their fascist image. Days after Daily Newscaster posted a commercial produced with tax payers funds City Year has filed a copy right infringement complaint with YouTube a site notorious for its censorship.

Apparently fair use for purposes of educating and informing do not apply. Considering the flagrant misapplication of Fair Use laws and First Amendment violations by YouTube we consider the warning posted on Daily Newscaster’s channel as a badge of honor.

You can see the commercial for “Obama’s Youth Corp” here.

Neocon Lyndsey Graham promoting the endless war

By: George @ 10:15 PM - EST

Heir to the thrown Lyndsey Graham pumps his chest and bangs the podium promoting the neocons endless war on terror at a recent South Carolina GOP convention. Graham who inherited his Senate seat from his father is quick to tell the audience, “If you don’t like that you go somewhere else.”

Just what kind of U.S. Senator talks like that? Given Graham’s record of supporting the neo-liberal agenda perhaps it is time he follow Arlen Specter’s lead and join the Democrat Party.

If you listen carefully at the very beginning of the video you can hear Prince Graham of South Carolina tell the audience “Ron Paul is not the leader of the Republican Party.” Some in the audience disagree.

Video: Lyndsey Graham promoting the neocons “endless war”

CNN reports on Prince Graham getting into “a sharp back-and-forth” with audience members.

Note to Lyndsey Graham and the left leaning Republican traitors - people do not believe your lies anymore.

Hitler’s Anti-Tobacco Campaign

By: Guest Blogger - C. C. Williams @ 9:28 PM - EST

Updated: Monday May 25th @ 11:55AM (Editors Note) - The above image censored by photobucket was a German WWII era anti-smoking poster showing a military boot kicking a cigar, cigarette and pipe.  How this important historical image is a violation of terms and use is unknown to this editor. If you would like to see the banned image, click google images and type in “Hitler anti smoking.”

I was given a dose of reality today purchasing a tin of tobacco when I realized the Obamessiah’s Tax Hike effective April 1st was more than 100 percent.  It’s also the last time I’ll purchase tobacco… Not because it’s too expensive, or I think it’s a good thing to quit, just like the Nazi do-gooders.  I’m doing it because I don’t want to volunteer more of my Federal Reserve Notes to this Fascist Regime.

The moronic thing to do would to lash out at this administration, because it sets us up for another fake Republican regime that would even be worse.  Obama is simply Bush on roids, but because he is of average intelligence, unilke the imbecilic devil-worshiping bi-sexual fake christian Dubya, a shrinking minority of people are still under the false impression that he represents change.

This brings me to an oldie but a goodie… Hitler’s Anti-Tobacco campaign.  This site does a decent job showing how many of the false left hot buttons are in tune with the Nazis.  It doesn’t mean that things like animal rights or being a vegatarian are bad things.  Like everything else, it becomes bad the moment you invite the State to force it down the throats of the people.

- C. C.

Hitler was a Leftist …

It seems that Hitler was a smoker in his youth but at some stage he became aware of its health hazards and, when in power (perhaps with the zeal of a convert), appeared to detest tobacco, which he called “the wrath of the Red Man against the White Man, vengeance for having been given hard liquor.” But the antismoking campaign reflected “a national political climate stressing the virtues of racial hygiene and bodily purity” as well as the Fuhrer’s personal prejudices. The same could be said of Nazi efforts to discourage drinking and encourage a better diet.

The state performer in antismoking propaganda was Adolf Hitler. As one magazine put it: “brother national socialist, do you know that our Führer is against smoking and think that every German is responsible to the whole people for all his deeds and emissions, and does not have the right to damage his body with drugs?”

- Excerpt from Robert Proctor’s book The NAZI War On Cancer.

“Robert Proctor presents a great deal of evidence that the nazis’ exerted massive control over most facets of ordinary citizen’s lives. Yet somehow, he never reaches the obvious conclusion that such compulsive regulations, even if arguably well intentioned, ultimately lead to a large scale sacrifice of basic freedoms.

He explains how the nazis greatly restricted tobacco advertising, banned smoking in most public buildings, increasingly restricted and regulated tobacco farmers growing abilities, and engaged in a sophisticated anti-smoking public relations campaign. (Suing tobacco companies for announced consequences was a stunt that mysteriously eluded Hitler’s thugs.) Despite the frightening parallels to the current war on tobacco, Mr. Proctor never even hints at the analogy. Curiously, he seems to take an approach that such alleged concern for public health shows nazism to be a more complex dogma than commonly presumed. While nothing present in the book betokens even a trace of sympathy for the Third Reich, this viewpoint seems incredibly naive. It’s easy to wonder if Hitler and company were truly concerned with promoting public health. The unquenchable lust for absolute control is a far more believable motive.

Incongruously some of the book’s desultory details lend further certitude to its unpromulgated thesis. Hitler not only abstained from tobacco; he also never drank and was, for the most part–a vegetarian. Frighteningly he also was an animal rights activist. The book reruns a nazi-era cartoon depicting many liberated lab animals giving the nazi salute to Hermann Goring after he outlawed animal experimentation and promised to send violators to a concentration camp. Also included is a fitting quote -now too widely suppressed from Joseph Goebbles, ..the fuhrer is deeply religious, though completely anti-Christian; he views Christianity as a symptom of decay.” Controversial as it may be in some circles, such a quote proves that nazism viewed Christianity as hatefully as it did Judaism. Passing coverage is given to the Third Reich’s forays into euthanasia and eugenics. Another striking morsel is the reporting of a widespread nazi-era whispered joke ..What is the ideal German? Blond like Hitler. Slim like Goring. Masculine like Goebbles…’ implying that Gautlier Goebble’s homosexuality was common knowledge. Nazi linguistic restrictions seem to be the counterpart of modern day ..hate speech.’ Words such as ..catastrophe,’ sabotage,’ and ..assassination’ were to be avoided, and in a portentous move, ..cripple’ was replaced by ..handicapped. Proctor also suggests ..the word ..enlightenment’ (was) probably used more in the nazi period than at any other time.’

Perhaps the ultimate overlooked point of this work is the suggestion that Adolph Hitler with his anti-tobacco, anti-religion, pro-animal rights, pro-government intrusion would find success as a modern day liberal.” –Steve Fantina

VIDEO: Obama’s militaristic youth corp commercial

By: George @ 11:36 PM - EST

This video was posted on YouTube by City Year a youth service corp organization. They have disabled ratings and are censoring all comments. Only one comment has made it past the censors since May 11th.

The Wave:

The Obama youth video below is eerily reminiscent of a 1981 ABC Afterschool Special called The Wave. In The Wave a high school teacher anxious to teach his students about the Holocaust and Hitler’s role in it begins an experiment. He forms an organization called “The Wave”, the students use salutes, matching clothing and membership cards with red X’s to recognize each other.

Initially the members of The Wave improve their appearance, attendance and grades. The group shouts slogans to unify themselves into a cohesive unit, “Strength through discipline. Strength through community. Strength through action!”

When the organization begins to bully others who do not comply the school reporter writes a critical article. She is seen as a threat and the group spray paints “enemy” on her locker.

The teacher realizing the time to put and end to his experiment gathers the students who are all dressed alike with their Wave arm bands, blue shirts and jeans into the school auditorium. On the stage are two television sets, the teacher tells the students it is time to meet their national leader. The sets blink to life revealing Adolf Hitler addressing a crowd of young people all dressed alike and wearing swastika armbands. The crowd chants in German, “Strength through discipline, strength through community, strength through action!”

The ABC special was based on the real experience of a high school class in Palo Alto, CA in April 1967, whose teacher wanted to explain the rise of the Nazi party to his students.

Editor’s Note: The military style youth corp City Year filed a false copy right claim against Daily Newscaster. As a result YouTube has removed the video below. Censorship is a common tactic of fascist groups.

Alex Jones’ Infowars website top search on the net

By: George @ 2:44 PM - EST

Recently YouTube and Google have censored videos made by radio talk show host and film maker Alex Jones. Considering Jones creates his own content and does not use copyrighted music the removal of his channel by YouTube is odd. Perhaps the real reason for censoring Jones is his impact on the culture.

Simple take a look at the screen capture taken from Lycos, Jones and his marque website Infowars are top searches.
