This is what Martial Law looks like

By: George @ 6:09 PM - EST

Video from September 1, 2008 of police making mass arrest and spraying chemical weapons on students and families at SEIU Labor Day concert in Twin Cities public park.

From the cameraman who filmed the event, “My personal favorite moment in the tape is an off-camera exchange. Police in riot gear have surrounded loungers in a waterfront park. They announce, “Ladies and Gentlemen, You’re Under Arrest” and you hear one young woman say incredulously “Are you serious?”

Late night video

By: George @ 11:21 PM - EST

On the eve of the tragic anniversary of the greatest crime committed in the history of the United States our late night video will be Keith Olbermann’s Special Comment about the use of 9/11 as a political tool to promote the neo-conservative movement in American politics.

This is the video played during the Neocon National Convention (RNC) in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The narrator says, “Jihadist are still intent on attacking civilization, freedom, the very soul of America.”

Isn’t that what our Congress has done with the unpatriotic “Patriot Act”, NSPD 51, The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act and the FISA Bill?

Stealing the show - Ron Paul battles the Trotskycons

By: D. H. Williams @ 11:28 AM - EST

I can remember the days when Russian (Soviet) news was packed full of propaganda and not to be trusted. Sadly now it is the U.S. corporate media who are the leading propaganda masters and the international press reporting real news.

Russia Today contrasts the neo-conservative agenda of the Trotskycons with the liberty agenda of Ron Paul Republicans.

Neo-Conservatism, making America safe since 9/11

By: George @ 11:29 AM - EST

The Ministry of Truth removes dangerous political dissenters from the streets of Minneapolis during the Neo-Conservative National Convention. Nearly a dozen pink clad terrorist were chanting loudly disrupting the peace and unity of “Country First.”

A spokesman for the ministry said, “Don’t be alarmed they will be released back into the population, citizens may experience some bruises and nausea during reeducation process.” One reeducation officer was heard saying, “I’ll pound the truth into her.”

When asked if these citizens should be allowed to express their opinions in public a stern looking peace officer clad in armor said, “Der Homeland comes first.” It was then that this reporter fully understood the neocon’s political catch phrase,”Country First.”

Ministry of truth confiscates American flag at RNC - Updated

By: D. H. Williams @ 11:58 AM - EST

The neo-conservatives put on one big show in the Excel Center this week, there were dancing McCain delegates dressed in red, white and blue, balloons & confetti falling from the ceiling and numerous political speeches the only thing missing was reality.

In an ingenuous effort to appear as the Republican Party of Ronald Reagan the neocon wing who are the ideological soul mates of Leon Trotsky have used their position of power to present a picture of unity by effectively suppressing any real debate over the future of the party.

Nathan Hansen Minnesota Republican delegate interviews Jeff Austin delegate from North Carolina about the confiscation of his American Flag by “secret police” working for the Neocon’s ministry of truth.

These Stalinesque tactics only serve to prove the pro tax, anti-Constitutional, big government wing of the Republican Party will not tolerate true conservative ideologies to infiltrate their leftist political platform.

Reporting to Daily Newscaster from the floor of the convention Pat, with the North Carolina delegation had this to say, “I was there, we had fought so hard to get to the convention, everyone was close to sensory overload.  The press, the black-yellow-red hats (different types of “watching”), our “fellow” delegates–there was a lot going on.  Everyday there would be new rumors of RP being on the floor or not—-

There were good things, we all got to meet fellow freedom fighters, we got concessions from the RNC (the announcing of the votes for candidates than McCain was negotiated.)  We made inroads with Libertarian leaning and just plain everyday decent GOP members, especially when someone would say something nasty to us.  It actully helped our cause, since we reacted in an adult fashion to their slurs.

That is why we did not raise a fuss when they took our signs, books, stickers, buttons and yes flags away from us.  We vocallized our displeasure, but backed off before things went south.

There will be a lawsuit brought against the powers that be for confiscating private property and unlawful searches.  See, the searches, for the most part, took place AFTER entering the security zones and scanning machines and BEFORE entering the main part of the building.

I do have to say that most everyone at the convention were polite or just ignored us.  There may not be as many bad apples in the barrel as we have presumed.  Too bad the worst apples have all the power.  Given time, I truely think that eyes will be opened and minds will again think for themselves, instead of “toeing the line” and holding their noses —–

I’m from NC and I’m proud of our state delegation, not perfect, but I’m telling you, they were good to us and helped us in so many ways throughout the convention.

I told a fellow who was upset w/ the RP people for being so outrageous and impatient, that at least we were Republicans and the party better embrace us or those 1 million plus voters might go to the LP or the CP or, gasp, the DP if they don’t feel more welcome.

Show up at your local GOP meetings, bring a friend, and next time bring more.  The only way we can really change things is to be there and be proud.”

Secret Service confiscates books & buttons from Ron Paul delegates - Updated

By: D. H. Williams @ 7:29 PM - EST

Today at the Republican National Convention, as the Ron Paul Delegates were taking a picture in front of the model White House inside the Convention Center, they were surrounded by Secret Service which proceeded to search the bags of all the delegates. They took any and everything related to Ron Paul including signs, buttons, videos, slim jims, cards, even books.

Alternate Delegate Dennis Rothacker from Florida said “We were done taking the picture when Secret Service started walking into the room and surrounded us. There were about 30 of them. When they searched my bags they took my Ron Paul sign and turned a deaf ear to my complains, they just walked away.”

Delegate Ron Warner from Fairbanks Alaska added that as he was walking into the convention center today with about 15 Revolution Manifesto books, 20 DVD’s for Delegates, 20 Ron Paul buttons and a handful of other things, we was stopped by security which called on an obviously important higher up, who directed all the materials to be confiscated. She told him, and I quote “You can’t bring that in here, this is Mc Cain territory”

Dennis, Ron and the other delegates report being openly followed by secret service. He says that they had been monitored from the beginning of the convention, but that now they are being shadowed constantly.

There are also reports of delegates being approached by security and told that they will be summarily thrown out if they leave their assigned chair.

Updated: @ 7:37 PM - EST

The alarm was sounded at 6:07 PM - EST when a text message was hurriedly sent from the convention floor by Republican delegate Dennis Rothacker to ‘Boris in Miami’.

“We just had a group shot of all the RP delegates and alternates, the secret service came and started searching everyone and took anything RP related. We got it on video though…”

Updated @ 8:18 PM - EST

Ron Paul delegates report that they have been shadowed by Secret Service since the beginning of the Republican National Convention at the Xcel Center, following the confiscation of their political materials they are now being surveilled openly with an agent assigned to each delegate. When one of the delegates asked if they could retrieve their property after the convention they were told, “No.” not satisfied with that answer the delegate tried to follow the agent to make additional inquiries,  he was told this action was causing a disturbance and a security agent was told to stay with him for the rest of the evening. For their safety the Ron Paul delegation have decided to stick together as a group while approaching the media with their story.

Updated @ 9:32 PM - EST

McCain delegates at large have approached Ron Paul delegates throughout the day in attempts to seperate them from their all important delegate credentials.  Adam Weigold, delegate from Minnesota, reported he has been approached at least five times by other Republican delegates supporting McCain-Palin who asked him to borrow his pass to go the bathroom. Nathan Hanson (MN) delegate and attorney suspects this is an organized effort by the GOP establishment.

The Ron Paul delegation will be staying at the Xcel Center until the end of the nights events around 11:00 PM - EST.

Updated: @ 1:08 AM - EST

Several Republicans attending the convention have reported to Daily Newscaster mass confiscation of bumper stickers, literature and paper signs such as, “Calling the GOP back to its Roots.” The GOP has put together an organized machine of federal security forces, McCain operatives, delegates, floor monitors and other staff creating an effective political ministry.

Updated: Friday the 5th @ 10:08 AM - EST

The GOP’s left leaning wing known as the neo-conservatives are using extreme measures to put, “Country First.”

Neocon loyalist for McCain are hounding any Republican delegate known to support the conservative priniciples of Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX). Delegates for Ron Paul are being kept silent, if they dare approach one of the microphones it is turned off and any attempt to discuss Ron Paul results in a threat of removal from the convention floor.

Exposed - Mike Murphy & Peggy Noonan trash Palin

By: D. H. Williams @ 8:55 AM - EST

After a segment with NBC’s Chuck Todd ended today, Republican consultant Mike Murphy and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan were caught on a live mike ridiculing the choice of Sarah Palin.

“It’s over,” said Noonan, who then responded to a question of whether Palin is the most qualified Republican woman McCain could have chosen.

Mike Murphy adds, “McCain can still give a version of the Lieberman speech and do himself some good.”

Chuck Todd asks, “Is she really the most qualified?”

“The most qualified? No. I think they went for this - excuse me - political bullshit about narratives,” she said. “Every time the Republicans do that, because that’s not where they live and it’s not what they’re good at, they blow it.”

Murphy chimed in, “The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical.

Chuck Todd ends this blunt commentary by saying, “This is cynical and as you called it gimmiky.”

Noonan’s blunt comments contrasted with her column today saying Palin “could become a transformative political presence.”

“The Sarah Palin choice is really going to work, or really not going to work,” Noonan wrote. “It’s not going to be a little successful or a little not; it’s not going to be a wash. She is either going to be magic or one of history’s accidents. She is either going to be brilliant and groundbreaking, or will soon be the target of unattributed quotes by bitter staffers shifting blame in all ‘The Making of the President 2008′ books.”

This candid exchange between pundits exposes their duplicite nature. If they do not tell us what they really think while on air or in their columns what or whom is controlling their “opinions?”

Meg Whitman’s 100 day plan to help America

By: D. H. Williams @ 10: 49 PM - EST

John McCain’s National Co-Chair Meg Whitman had the job at the Minneapolis RNC to convince voters that McCain can restore prosperity to the economy and protect the country from attack. In her speech the former chairman of ebay lamented about the challenges here at home, “our economy is struggling and Americans are hurting … we live in a time of hardship, the cost of everything .. has gone up while the value of our homes go down.” yet she and her choice for president both have been working together to end America’s sovereignty by promoting the consolidation of Canada, Mexico and the U.S. into the North American Union.

The first major hurdle is to find a way in their words, “to better mobilize American public opinion” behind the notion of comprehensive immigration reform. The real plan for the American economy by McCain and Co. is to legalize 25 million undocumented aliens. Far from helping American families Meg Whitman, John McCain and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger who were all in attended at the Silicon Valley Global Competition Roundtable on May 22, 2008 are really concerned about creating a global market for the multinational corporations they represent.

McCain is so committed to open borders that he has hired Juan Hernandez dual citizen of Mexico and the U.S. Hernandez is a radical Mexico First spokesman who wants all Mexicans in the U. S. to stay loyal to Mexico even after they receive citizenship. “I want the third generation, the seventh generation, I want them all to think ‘Mexico first.” said Hernandez

This is the McCain plan and the Obama plan: flooding America with 10’s of millions of undocumented illegals straining an already broken federal entitlement system.

Globalist Meg Whitman feels your pain.

Meg and John will save the economy and protect America by maintaining open borders and the flow of illegal immigrants from around the world.

Fox speaks with 800lbs gorilla, Ron Paul at the RNC in Minneapolis

By: D. H. Williams @ 7:52 PM - EST

Ron Paul talks about bringing his party back to its conservative traditions on Fox News with Neil Cavuto at the Republican National Convention.

The left leaning leadership of the Republican Party would prefer Rep. Paul (R-TX) not be present for the staged event to nominate McCain - Palin.

At the end of the interview Cavuto says, “Thank you very much sir … tip toe out of here.” One wonders how does the 800lbs gorilla in the room “tip toe” any where?

McCain’s support at the Republican National Convention is so sparse that ABC News uses a photo from a Minneapolis event taking place 8 miles away and inserts the tag, “In St. Paul, Republicans Rally Behind McCain-Palin Ticket.”

The Republicans in the photo are actually supporters of Ron Paul and his Rally For The Republic as the signs being held up clearly indicate.

McCain seeking Ron Paul’s support at Minneapolis RNC

By: D. H. Williams @ 11:15 PM - EST

John McCain strategist working through the Republican National Committee have been negotiating with Congressman Ron Paul to win his support and that of his legion of compatriots many among the 4,607 delegates and alternates at the Republican National Convention.

McCain’s camp is concerned that Rep. Paul’s conservative brand of Republicanism has garnered the attention of closet sympathizers among the party loyalist. Sen. McCain’s election staff feel these sympathizers and libertarian leaning supporters will give their votes in November to former Republican and current Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr.

Dr. Paul had sought to speak at the RNC but was kept out by McCain operatives. As a result Paul is holding his own convention of sorts called, The Rally For The Republic at the Minneapolis Target Center were a capacity crowd is expected September 2nd.

Senior aide Jesse Benton said Congressman Paul (R-TX) is negotiating with convention officials for permission to appear on the floor of the RNC with his personal security, communications director and other political aides. In return Rep. Paul will speak respectfully about Mr. McCain.

The neo-conservative wing of the Republican Party that controls the McCain campaign is concerned about the impact Ron Paul’s “counter-convention” which has attracted so many young, first time voters. In a Washington Times interview Mr. Paul said he doesn’t regard the event as a counter-convention so much as a training opportunity for future cadres who see the Republican Party as he does.

It is an open secret that many prominent Republicans privately support Rep. Paul’s objective of taking the party back from the neo-conservatives and restore it to a tradition of limited government.
