Only a few weeks ago media and politicians in America and the world were praising the Chinese for hosting the Olympic games. You would not here a peep about China being … communist. And all that entails like slave labor, non-representative government and an absence of civil rights. China even played along a little by easing up on their iron fist of dictatorship at least for the games, but the iron curtain feel quickly after the final ceremonies.
Like all tin horn dictatorships controlling the population is key to survival and Bejing excels at this. Visitors to internet cafes will soon be required to have their photographs taken in stringent new controls over cyberspace.
Chinese authorities immediately re-banned subversive sites after the games and starting mid-December the 14 districts of Beijing must install cameras and record the identities of web surfers, who must be 18 or older. It has been several years since internet cafe users have been required to register.
The number of internet users in China has exploded to more that 250 million. That’s 10 times more than in 2000.
Not only will prospective web surfers need have their image scan and downloaded to a centralized database but their official national identity card also. Sound familiar? The database and enforcement arm for this will be the Cultural Law Enforcement Taskforce, sounds frighteningly similar to Department of Homeland Security.
At the Mingluo internet café in the Dongcheng district about 60 people were ensconced in front of terminals. Most were chatting online or watching films. The manager affected a lack of concern about the regulation, saying that he had introduced the policy a month ago. “I think most people don’t mind. We explain to them that this will not have any impact on them,” he said.
No, of course they don’t mind because if the did have any complaints they will have a jack booted thug with an AK47 at their door.
People’s Daily showed that 72 per cent of respondents were opposed to the measure, calling it an infringement of their rights. Just over 26 per cent supported the photographing because it would benefit children. Ah, yes tyranny loves the save the children angle.
Similar measures to spy on all internet users are on their way to the United States. Instead of cameras and ID cards ISP’s will be doing deep packet surveillance of everything you do on the internet and comparing it to a forbidden “blocked list” you will then be reported to the federal authorities should you or anyone else using your computer attempt to access anything on the list. Daily Newscaster will be doing a post about this in a couple days.
Barack Obama and his campaign of CHANGE is using some standard political tactics employed by tin horn dictators in third world nations and oppressive regimes such as Communist China.
Obama has recruited high profile prosecutors and sheriffs in Missouri who have warned the citizens that they will arrest and prosecute anyone who promotes a message not sanctioned by the Obama campaign.
Leading the “Truth Squad” there words not mine, are St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCullock and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce and Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer plus Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) who is taking the lead in this attack on Civil Liberties.
As a side note Claire McCaskill is a strong supporter of the recent economic fraud know as the trillion dollar Paulson bailout.
The “Truth Squads” mission?
“The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who liestells an unapproved truth or runs a misleadingunapproved TV ad during the presidential campaign.” Reports John Mills of St. Louis, KMOV-TV News 4.
This Obama/Biden Ministry of Truthwill be going after any radio/television station plus any bloggers who do not report the official propaganda approved by the campaign of CHANGE.
“We want to keep this campaign focused on issues,” Joyce told St. Louis News 4. “We don’t want people to get distracted. Missourians don’t want to be distracted by the divisive character attacks.”
The campaignMinistry of Truth was assembled to “set the record straight,” they said.
When Minister Joyce says, “we don’t want people distracted by character attacks” does she mean like when Obama said, “It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere… That’s the world! On which hope sits!”
For Barack Obama and Joe Biden to use law enforcement to prevent the free people of Missouri and the nation from speaking out about a political contest is a direct attack of Civil Rights and the traditions of American political discourse. Add to this the Democrats fervor to pass sweeping socialist reforms in the economic sector and there can be no doubt the type of CHANGE Barack Obama represents - communism is his goal.
Chris Cox, lobbyist for the National Rifle Association had this to say, “Barack Obama and his campaign are terrified of the truth. Sen. Obama’s statements and support for restricting access to firearms, raising taxes on guns and ammunition and voting against the use of firearms for self-defense in the home are a matter of public record. NRA-PVF will make sure that everyone knows of Obama’s abysmal record on guns and hunting.”
You can go here to see the letter the Obama campaign sends to any television station that runs ads exposing his gun grabbing efforts.
Missouri Governor Matt Blunt fights back - The following is a press release from the Governors office.
The neo-conservatives put on one big show in the Excel Center this week, there were dancing McCain delegates dressed in red, white and blue, balloons & confetti falling from the ceiling and numerous political speeches the only thing missing was reality.
In an ingenuous effort to appear as the Republican Party of Ronald Reagan the neocon wing who are the ideological soul mates of Leon Trotsky have used their position of power to present a picture of unity by effectively suppressing any real debate over the future of the party.
Nathan Hansen Minnesota Republican delegate interviews Jeff Austin delegate from North Carolina about the confiscation of his American Flag by “secret police” working for the Neocon’s ministry of truth.
These Stalinesque tactics only serve to prove the pro tax, anti-Constitutional, big government wing of the Republican Party will not tolerate true conservative ideologies to infiltrate their leftist political platform.
Reporting to Daily Newscaster from the floor of the convention Pat, with the North Carolina delegation had this to say, “I was there, we had fought so hard to get to the convention, everyone was close to sensory overload. The press, the black-yellow-red hats (different types of “watching”), our “fellow” delegates–there was a lot going on. Everyday there would be new rumors of RP being on the floor or not—-
There were good things, we all got to meet fellow freedom fighters, we got concessions from the RNC (the announcing of the votes for candidates than McCain was negotiated.) We made inroads with Libertarian leaning and just plain everyday decent GOP members, especially when someone would say something nasty to us. It actully helped our cause, since we reacted in an adult fashion to their slurs.
That is why we did not raise a fuss when they took our signs, books, stickers, buttons and yes flags away from us. We vocallized our displeasure, but backed off before things went south.
There will be a lawsuit brought against the powers that be for confiscating private property and unlawful searches. See, the searches, for the most part, took place AFTER entering the security zones and scanning machines and BEFORE entering the main part of the building.
I do have to say that most everyone at the convention were polite or just ignored us. There may not be as many bad apples in the barrel as we have presumed. Too bad the worst apples have all the power. Given time, I truely think that eyes will be opened and minds will again think for themselves, instead of “toeing the line” and holding their noses —–
I’m from NC and I’m proud of our state delegation, not perfect, but I’m telling you, they were good to us and helped us in so many ways throughout the convention.
I told a fellow who was upset w/ the RP people for being so outrageous and impatient, that at least we were Republicans and the party better embrace us or those 1 million plus voters might go to the LP or the CP or, gasp, the DP if they don’t feel more welcome.
Show up at your local GOP meetings, bring a friend, and next time bring more. The only way we can really change things is to be there and be proud.”

A video from NuffRespect shows government enforcement agents improvising laws as they go. Oddly citizens around the world are told they should welcome the intrusion of government filming while in public but government enforcement agents regularly intimidate the public when they are being filmed.

Funded and directed by the Department of Homeland Security Minneapolis police raided homes of the ‘RNC Welcoming Committee.’ With their guns drawn police forced everyone to the floor to be cuffed and searched including a 5 year old child. No one was arrested but all were photographed and identified for government files.
The government is being very secretive about the cause of the illegal search not revealing the reason at this time, but those on the scene claim officers said they believed there were ‘bomb making materials’ located at the residents. No bomb making materials were found, instead U. S. citizens were enjoying dinner and watching a movie. The owners of the homes were latter fined for violating obscure fire code(s).
Government officials had hoped to contain U. S. citizens who wished to speak out at the DNC within this concentration camp complete with observation and weapons platforms. Is this the “change” Barak Obama mentions?

You may notice that the U.S. Military provides for the basic needs of its prisoners such as toilets and shade.
