CHICAGO – Barack Obama’s fellow Chicagoan Rahm Emanuel, the hard-charging No. 3 Democrat in the House, has accepted the job of White House chief of staff, Democratic officials said Thursday.

One of Obama’s first decisions as president-elect was to ask the Illinois congressman to run his White House staff. The selection of the fiery Democrat marked a shift in tone for Obama, who chose more low-key leadership for his presidential campaign.

Emanuel, who served as a political and policy aide in the Clinton White House before running for Congress, weighed the family and political considerations before accepting. He will have to resign his seat, relinquish his position in the House Democratic leadership and put aside hopes of becoming House speaker.

Democratic officials who disclosed Emanuel’s acceptance did so on the condition of anonymity to avoid angering Obama’s team; it had not planned to announce the chief of staff position on Thursday.

In offering the White House post to Emanuel, Obama turned to a fellow Chicago politician with a far different style from his own, a man known for his bluntness as well as his single-minded determination.

House GOP leader John Boehner of Ohio called Emanuel “an ironic choice for a president-elect who has promised to change Washington, make politics more civil, and govern from the center.”

Before accepting the job, Emanuel told Chicago’s WLS-TV that he was honored to be considered but needed to weigh the impact on his family.

“I have a lot to weigh: the basis of public service, which I’ve given my life to, a career choice. And most importantly, what I want to do as a parent,” Emanuel said in an interview aired Wednesday. “And I know something about the White House. That, I assume, is one of the reasons that President-elect Obama would like me to serve. But I also know something about what it means to a family.”

As word of Emanuel’s acceptance spread Thursday, Obama was meeting privately in Chicago with U.S. intelligence officials preparing him to be commander in chief and transition team leaders tasked with building his entire administration in 10 short weeks.

The president-elect planned his first public appearances since his victory for Friday.

Aides said he will meet with economic advisers to discuss the nation’s financial woes — Americans listed the economy as their top concern on Election Day — and then talk to the news media. Aides also said that Obama and his wife, Michelle, will visit the White House on Monday at President Bush’s invitation.

“Michelle and I look forward to meeting with President Bush and the first lady on Monday to begin the process of a smooth, effective transition,” Obama said in a statement. “I thank him for reaching out in the spirit of bipartisanship that will be required to meet the many challenges we face as a nation.”

Obama advisers said he was selecting the leaders of the new government with a sense of care over speed, with no plans to announce Cabinet positions this week.

Aside from Emanuel, several Obama aides said other White House officials were being lined up, including Robert Gibbs as the likely pick for press secretary. Gibbs has been Obama’s longtime spokesman and confidant and was at Obama’s side from his 2004 Senate campaign through the long days on the presidential campaign trail.

Obama planned to stay home through the weekend, with a blackout on news announcements so that he and his staff can get some rest after a grueling campaign and the rush of their win Tuesday night. He is planning a trip to Hawaii in December to get away with his family before their move to the White House — and to honor his grandmother, who died Sunday at her home there.

Obama began Thursday as he usually does, with a workout. Later, he planned to visit with the transition team he officially announced Wednesday but had been under way for weeks. Officials had kept deliberations under wraps to avoid the appearance of overconfidence in the weeks leading to Tuesday’s election.

He also spent time at the FBI office in Chicago, a secure location for him to receive his first president’s daily brief. The document is mostly written by the Central Intelligence Agency and includes the most critical overnight intelligence. It is accompanied by a briefing from top intelligence officials that typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour, although Obama’s first is expected to be longer.

Just as George W. Bush claimed to be anti-war when running against Al Gore in 2000, Barack Obama was able to use the same subterfuge on the American electorate to defeat John McCain in 2008. Also just like George W. Bush, Barack Obama will not keep his campaign promises.

Amplified and directed by the major corporate controlled media Obama’s supporters are convinced that he will get America out of war bringing peace and prosperity to the land. Simultaneously the media has helped to promote the message that Obama is somehow sympathetic too Muslim faith and politics. Both assumptions could not be further from reality.

Barack Obama’s Loyal Israeli War Hawk Rahm Emanuel

During the 1991 Gulf War, Rahm Emanuel a U.S. citizen volunteered to serve not the U.S. Army but rather the Israeli Army. According to officail reports Rahm was “rust proofing brakes on an army base in northern Israel.” The public is expected to believe the cover story that a well connected Illinois political figure and son of Benjamin Emanuel of the Irgun was assigned to rust proofing brakes.

Most likely Rahm was being indoctrinated and trained by the Mossad during this time preparing him as a sayan or spy. Upon immediately returning from his “rust proofing” job in the desert Rahm become a top aid in the Clinton presidential campaign providing a vast sum of financial support.

After leaving the Clinton White House Rahm briefly entered the private sector working for Bruce Wasserstein a major Democratic donor and Wall Street financier. In 2 1/2 years Rahm was able to earn $18 million dollars brokering deals for Wasserstein Perella using his political connections.

Is Obama’s choice for Chief of Staff the Israeli spy Mega?

The conviction of Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard in 1986 exposed the existence of a ring of U.S. officials spying for Israeli intelligence. Pollard was found guilty of passing secret documents to his Israeli handlers, what caused U.S. Intelligence agencies the most concern was that Pollard new document titles and serial numbers that he did not have the necessary security clearance to access. Only someone with the highest level clearance could have passed this information to mole Pollard.

Fast forward to May 7th, 1997 when a call was intercepted by the National Security Agency between an Israeli embassy official and the head of Israeli intelligence that revealed the presence of a top-level mole in the U.S. government. The Israeli diplomat was eager to gain access to a specific communication between Secretary of State Warren Christopher and Yasser Arafat. The Israeli diplomat asked the Mossad chief, Danny Yatom to get the information using their high level operative in the U.S. government code named “Mega,” Yatom scolded the diplomat saying, “This is not something we use Mega for.”

Rahm Emanuel has the right connections in Washington D. C. and deep personal and family ties to the nation state of Israel. During the Clinton presidency he was a close personal advisor to Bill Clinton holding top secret clearance and able to access virtually any document or secret held by the United States.

Rahm is the son of Israeli Zionist Benjamin Emanuel member of the radical underground movement Irgun, which planted a bomb in the basement of the King David Hotel in 1946 killing 91. The deeds of Irgun are popular folk lore in modern day Israel.

Obama’s Pro War Democratic Congress

In a time were only 17% of rank and file Democrats are for “staying the course” in Iraq and the other 78% for immediate or gradual withdraw the Democratic controlled Congress elected in 2006 has betrayed their constituency by expanding America’s two front war in the Middle East. How is this possible that and anti-war electorate voted in pro war Democrats?

Enter Rahm Emanuel, as the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman he has been able to hand pick a stable of pro-Irael, pro-war candidates to fill key legislative positions. It is Rahm who in 2005 was able to identify and fund candidates who would support war in the Middle East, out of 22 candidate supported by Rhams money machine only 1 was for a prompt withdraw.

For a candidate who ran and won on a anti-war pro peace platform Barack Obama has made a strange choice for personal advisor and Chief of Staff, if indeed it was a choice for him to make.

Media outlets and neo-liberal/progressive bloggers have been crowing about the ‘news’ that Rahm Emanuel Congressman from Illinois and old friend and image maker for Barack Obama was offered the coveted Chief of Staff position in the new Obama White House.

Anyone following the orchestrated rise of Barack Obama from obscurity to the highest office of the land knows Rahm Emanuel has been the conductor all along. Emanuel not only has deep political roots in in the Chicago political scene but has been refered to as the “bag man” for the moneyed elite of Israel. For decades Rahm has groomed and promoted choosen candidates to fill key political positions in order to benefit the worlds wealthy elitist.

As Chief of Staff Mr. Emanuel will be able to put forth the agenda of the corporatist filling a role similarly held by Dick Cheney in the Bush White House. Among the top priorities for Rahm will be the so called Fairness Doctrine which will severely limit free speech, anti-gun laws and promoting a one world economic system based on a single global currency.

The mass media is playing along with the charade claiming Rep. Emanuel has aspirations of becoming Speaker of the House therefore may turn down Obama’s offer. But Rahm has spent years prepairing Barack for his role as president and has been by his side nearly everyday for that last two years. It was decided long ago Rahm Emanuel would be Chief of Staff.

The recent historic victory of Barack Obama has been meet with euphoria as many people believe they are jettisoning the fascist regime of George W. Bush.

In the excitement that the Patriot Act many be repealed and the wars may end Barack Obama is being called: The One, Leader of the World and the Messiah.

But how long will the honeymoon last? Obama has already backed out on his promise not to wire tap Americans without a warrant and leaving Iraq in the foreseeable future. How long will it take before his devotees realize Barack Obama will continue and expand the policies of the George W. Bush presidency?

Time will tell, but for now the celebration continues.
