John Amato owner operator of one of the webs biggest blogs Crooks & Liars has published a post called, “Peter Schiff Was Right.” Schiff is applauded by C&L for challenging the assumptions of “free-market, screw-the-middle-class blowhards.”
Does Mr. Amato really not understand that Free Markets have not existed for decades in the United States? Or that Free Trade agreements are managed trade monopolies to benefit the ruling elite?

Couple of things I found odd about this post:
1.) C&L is happy to give credit to Peter Schiff for having an accurate prediction of the economy but then John Amato abandons any reason or reality as he claims it was conservative, free-marketeers who tanked the economy, instead of a world banking cartel that controls U.S. lawmakers.
Hey Amato Peter Schiff is a student of the Austrian School of Economics, which is based on a laissez faire approach to economic theory.
2.) Amato and his staff of big government cheerleaders love to hate Congressman Ron Paul, he is often a target of smears and lies from Crooks & Liars writers. Is the staff at Crooks & Liars ignorant to the fact that Peter Schiff was Ron Paul’s economic advisor when he ran in the Republican primaries?
Considering C&L’s big government approach to all problems public and private this post by Amato is very confusing. One can hope it is a change of heart and the folks at C&L are waking up to economic and political realities but more likely this post in a combination of intentional propaganda and a lack of real understanding of the current state of the economy.
