Congress threatened with martial law in America if they don’t pass $700 billion bailout, says Rep. Brad Sherman - Updated

By: D. H. Williams @ 9:45 AM - EST

The economic terrorism continues …

Yesterday on the floor of the House Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) “The only way they can pass this bill is by creating and sustaining a panic atmosphere. That atmosphere is not justified.

Many of us were told in private conversation that the sky would fall, the market would drop 2000 to 3000 points the first day another couple thousand the second day.

A few members were even told there would be martial law in America if we voted NO. That’s what I call fear mongering, unjustified, proven wrong. We’ve got a week we’ve got two weeks to pass a good bill.

The only way to pass a bad bill. Keep the panic pressure on.”

Congressman Brad Sherman tell radio talk show host Alex Jones that Wall Street used “panic tactics” to pass the bailout bill for $700 billion in unmarked bills.

Rep. Sherman goes on to describe members of Congress who were running around on the House floor warning of blood on the streets and the deceleration of Martial Law in America if they did not pass the bill immediately.

Brad Sherman then tried to downplay these acts of economic terrrorism by saying, “They did not threaten to shoot anybody.”

Updated: Tuesday @ 9:01 AM - EST

Rep. Brad Sherman’s office is now refusing to take any phone calls or discuss the threats made to him and other Congressmen prior to the Paulson bailout package vote. Glen Beck tried to get him on to discuss his statements about martial law and he refused.

Way up north, (North To Alaska.)
Way up north, (North To Alaska.)
North to Alaska,
They’re goin’ North, the rush is on.
North to Alaska,
They’re goin’ North, the rush is on.

Big Sam left Seattle in the year of ‘92, (1892)
With George Pratt, his partner, and brother, Billy, too.
They crossed the Yukon River and found the bonanza gold.
Below that old white mountain just a little south-east of Nome.

Sam crossed the majestic mountains to the valleys far below.
He talked to his team of huskies as he mushed on through the snow.
With the northern lights a-running wild in the land of the midnight sun,
Yes, Sam McCord was a mighty man in the year of nineteen-one.

Where the river is winding,
Big nuggets they’re finding.
North to Alaska,
They’re goin’ North, the rush is on.

George turned to Sam with his gold in his hand,
Said: “Sam you’re a-lookin’at a lonely, lonely man.
“I’d trade all the gold that’s buried in this land,
“For one small band of gold to place on sweet little Ginnie’s hand.

“‘Cos a man needs a woman to love him all the time.
“Remember, Sam, a true love is so hard to find.
“I’d build for my Ginnie, a honeymoon home.
“Below that old white mountain just a little south-east of Nome.”
