Peaceful protesters and general public surrounded by troops in black uniforms

By: D. H. Williams @ 7:12 PM - EST

A calm political protest quickly turned chaotic as anxious troops in black riot gear surrounded protesters peacefully marching toward the Democratic National Convention Center. After trapping the crowd between two buildings, hundreds of officers used chemical weapons, batons and unwarranted aggression.

Many people surrounded by federal troops were passersby inadvertently trapped and asked if they could leave the area. A smiling federal trooper said, “No Way!”

As credentialed press were documenting the event the black uniform enforcement officers accused them of “interfering with the police.” Apparently the press person did not respond quickly enough to the orders and was pushed for attempting to express his First Amendment rights at the Obama Coronation.

After being surrounded for 20 minutes, two ANP producers managed to escaped recording the whole affair.

These protesters have a laundry list of grievances with Barack Obama. They are unhappy that he gave immunity to corporations who spied on the U.S., they want to know why he voted for the reinstatement of the Patriot Act, and funds the war. One protesters said, “He represents the interest of the ruling class.”
